Oil Pan Gasket

Well, got to work on that today. The service manual is totally wrong on how to do that. Should not have dropped the tranny for this, just jacked the engine up.

Even better, got it all back together and it leaks more now then it did before I started. Right out the back side of the oil pan next to the bell housing. Have to lift it again and drop the oil pan again and re-clean and seal it again. At least this time I know what needs to be done and can do it with out killing myself again. Now I just need a lift.

tmleadr03,

Just a little dab of RTV in the 4 corners about 1/4" long right at the spits.
