I have a 2001 3500 ho 6spd. 1 month ago dealer installed an inj pump. 3 days ago dealer installed a new lift pump. Truck had no power after inj pump, still doesnt after lp. It used to pull hard after about 1700 on up, but now its just slow all the way. Any ideas?? Dodge says nothing is wrong, but i diss agree. Thanks for your time

 

first thing to do is to pull the codes and check the fp.

Do you have gauges? If yes fuel pressure, boost and EGTs could be very helpful. Something else would be to take the dealer tech with a DRB scanner hooked up for a test drive and monitor the parameters like boost as seen by the ECM to pinpoint the problem.
Did you do an APPS reset? Could be as simple as the PCM only seeing half throttle.

Boost leak? that would eat up some power. I had 4 small leaks on mine, it sure made a difference when I fixed em.

did the apps reset [thanks AR] still nothing. could it be another bad inj pump due to the bad lp? could the bad lp been to blame for the first inj failure? ive heard they dont last long without it. thanks again for yalls time

 

I would make sure it had plenty of boost pressure, I've heard that if the turbo goes out on this engine, they're gutless. Anyway its something worth checking.
