New harness with MAP sensor

Am having issues with the MAP sensor and was told by the parts guy that the new sensor comes with a new wiring harness and connector. Anyone else ran into this and does it mean my fueling box box won't be a simple plugin now? 2Gun

new harness

So is the new harness a plugin rather than a splice kit? How hard is the install? I don't have the fuel filter or the lift pump assemblies on the motor anymore. Any special tools? 2Gun

Don't know about the harness, but without the fuel filter, the sensor is easy to get to. Just be sure to use a deep socket to remove/install, so you don't break it. Mine takes a 32mm deep socket.
