Limited slip problems
anyone ever have a D70 LS lock and stick? I'm going to tear it down tommorow. I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this problem....it now like to pop and jump when turning lol!

Tear down may not be necessary. Remove cover(draining fluid) and inspect for nasty stuff in bottom. If no chunks or obvious issues try new fluid. Buy the limited slip additive (believe takes two bottles) along with syn fluid. Install and drive. Go to large parking lot and do figure 8's at low speed for several minutes. You have to work the additive into the clutches. There is a test for LS diff operation. Believe it goes like this. With on wheel off graound and other chocked and trans in neutral and parking brake off, try rotating wheel with large brake over bar. You should be able to spin (very slowly) the wheel and prop shaft in either direction. 100 - 200 lbs foot torque is required.
