Hey guys...I am planning on running my lift pump off of a relay and I have a simple question. I will use the hot wire from the ECM as my trigger but what should I do with the ground wire. Is it a common ground or does it go through the ECM? I would assume that it is all common ground...but I try to avoid assuming...it always costs me money.

I've run the relay both ways, using a chassis ground and using the ground wire off the OE LP harness. Runs the same either way.
