FWIW

I have the 4601 HP and last summer added the vulcan relocate kit. Never see anything less then 8 psi. Idles at 15-17 psi. 4601 is light weight, small and, not that expensive so carrying a spare is no problem.

Mine is engine mounted, just as it rolled down the assembly line.

I'm frankly surprised it's still going strong.

Yea, same here. What I've learned is you have to at least monitor your pressure. My pump works fine. If you can't check the pressure, it could bite you in the wallet real quick!
