Is the lift pump bad?

Thanks for the link cummins dude. I think first my uincle needs to put on a new fuel filter, and then ill see what happens from there. Ill keep you guys updated.

O.k. guys. My uncle changed hid fuel filter yesterday, and now the truck wont start, and seems to be getting no prime, so a dead lift pump seems to be the problem. Now he is going to HAVE to buy a new lift pump, so any suggestions on that would be helpful, thanks.

If you have a Cummins shop near by, they will have a much lower price on the pump than a DC dealer.

You might want to check the Cummins web site for the address of the nearest Cummins distributor or service center. It's cummins.com.

Thanks guys, but my dad had already ordered one for $180 without telling me. Oh well, that doesent sound too bad, so ill let you know how it goes.
