installing fuel pressure warning guage 98.5 24 valve

installing fuel pressure warning guage 98.5 24 valve

i have 24 valve and installing pressure warning kit, on top of my fuel filter housing there is 2 fittings inlet and outlet, do i need to put pressure transducer on inlet or outlet?? the outlet side will be pressure after the filter.

Pressure after the filter.

That way, when you see a drop in your WOT pressure, you can check the filter first.
Mine has been that way since installed in 2000.

How do you have the line run from where I see it in the pic? Fuel in the cab? Thought about doing it that way but have been told it wasn't wise. Been running oil pressure guages that way for years. I don't see the problem unless you have a leak.

Here's my gauge setup.
Been this way since January of 2000.
in 140,000 miles, hasn't leaked yet..........
