if your interested there are a couple of used or pretty much new ones in the classifieds section of this site. I bought one from there a few months ago.

 

I used Source automotive, he will warrantee the pump if you tap it, most others will not! Mine is tapped and stacked with a smarty, no problems!

 

I have had nothing but great service from Midwest Fuel Injection and my pump is doing great! One thing that sold me on them was I had 30 days to return the core before they charged me for it..

I personally would stay away from "cheap E-Bay" knock off pumps.

Cheaper is not always better. Even Autozone could of gotten me a "Brand new VP44" for $750.00USD!!

 

I used Taber Diesel in Alberta, good strong pump, quick shipping also..There is a place in Manitoba that i found later that wrecks Dodge trucks, he pulled one off shelf and showed me one he was selling for 900.00. It was a year old rebuilt from a rollover. I can forward phone number if wanted.

 

Thanks for the help everyone. I found one for 1695.00 CDN after tax. Got it put on and hooked back up to the Edge Juice and it works great.

 

Chris, where did you source from? Does the cost you mentioned include the installation or is that on top?

 

A used pump should be treated as core value only. That way when the ineviatibele issue comes you are good to go for a warrantied reman. JMHO

 

I got it from Huron Fuel Injection. It is a BOSCH rebuild and no, it didn't include installation but it only took 3.5 hours to do and I was on the road again.
