Need help with 93 ctd injection pump, need it fast!

My brother and i are building up a project truck, and today we got the 366 spring in, So my brother and his friends they are 16, they do it by themselves, and when they took it apart they didnt mark any on the timing marks. So now they truck will not start. So now i am going to have to take the pump off and tear it apart because i dont know where they went wrong. So does anyone know where i can get some instructions on how to tear the VE pump down and build it back with the right timing? Please need help.

the should not affect it, did they remove the power screw to put the pump top back on?

if its not in far enough it wont run, because it has no fuel, but if its in too far it can runaway, if the coller is still on the power screw that should not be an issue. all th fuel lines hooked up?

Look through the thread below and it should help you to understand a little more of whats going on with the pump and what folks are trying to tell ya.
Can you hear the shutoff solenoid click? You should hear it.

they didnt take the pump off no. There is fuel getting to the injectors we bled them to get the air out, so the solenoid is turning on and off, i havnt check to hear it yet, but if there is fuel going to the injectors it is turning on right. I dont know much about them so i dont know. And also they pulled that lever that pushes on the full power screw

They probably got the throttle lever indexed too loose.

The throttle shaft is splined to the throttle lever. They are probably a couple splines off.

No, if it's too loose it won't even start.
