Just wondering what trigeres the automatic high idle on these trucks. (witch sensors it reads off of???) I had the high idle enabled and it only works sometimes. Thanks

 

There are numerous criteria, vehicle speed, 0, temp below 0, no brake, etc.

I have the high idle along with the 3 cylinder enabled. I also put a manual high idle for when I want it. Sometimes I know better than the computer... PM me if you want the instructions how I did it...

 

Buy a Quadzilla XZT+. It has a max mileage, power and stock settings. All come with a "high idle" feature that allow you to chose when the high idle turns on and off. Great feature..not to mention the fuel savings or extra power if you want. I keep mine in "Max Mileage" setting and figure it will pay for itself in 15K to 20K miles.
