Help Transmission problems
Yesterday I left my apt complex and out of the blue my transmission went into limp mode. i had the codes read at a transmission shop and it came up with a 3-4 shift selinoid. code p0753 and a p1693 dtc. the transmission has never had any problems always shifted smooth. Being I am a Disabled veterain I cant afford the cost of a rebuild so im hoping it truley is just what the code says. and if so how hard is it to replace these? any help or suggestions on where to start would be greatly apreceated

Or a wiring issue. Should look carefully for damaged wiring going to left side of tranny. Would not be first time a rodent got a hunger for real insulation and wiring.
well after a day of diagnostics and following the 3-4 shift schmatics with a multimeter i found the problem was deffinitly the 3-4 shift solinoid and torque converter lockup solinoid was bad (broken wire) the fix was simple droped the trans pan and replaced the two solinoids total cost was 125 for the solinoids at the mopar house plus cost of trans fluid and filter and fixed the issue if anyone has a similar problem i have detailed directions on how to diagnose and replace the solinoids with pictures to show what to do.
