Question Fuel Boost Pump

I am looking to add a fuel boost pump to get my pressure up at the injector pump. My pressure is running marginal at times, and I don't want to strain it. I have read about others adding pumps, but not mentioning what brand or model they used, or where the pump was placed in the system. Any recomendations would be greatly appreciated!!

Some guys mount a pump back by the gas tank. Its a carter P4600HP which is a 7 psi 100gph pump then you keep your factory pump where it is I believe. Then I think you would be wise to set up a relay and use a differnet power source for the pusher pump because of the distance. I ended up just moving my P4601HP 15 psi 100gph LP back to the tank on the frame and called it a day. I hope this helps. Summitracing.com has both pumps.

I'm running on a single holley blue pump in the frame rail by the fuel tank and don't have any banjos in my system. 15psi at WOT. (at the inj pump)- I used the original LP harness to drive a relais thet powers the pump.

Just my 2c

Ok, next question. Did you break the tubing or the hose portion of the line to install. The tube to hose transition is closer to the lift pump rather than the fuel tank. I suppose it would be ok to cut a portion of the fuel tubing and use some extra hose and the hose-barbs that came with the pump. Thanks in advance for any help!!

I replaced the fuel line from the tank bulkhead with a rubber line with proper hose clamps. The quick-connect wasn't tight. I removed the old lines from the clips in the frame rail and zip tied the rubber hose to the clips.
