friend driving truck
had a friend drive my truck today. needless to say, it was a bad call. truck was in 6th gear and my buddy, not knowing any better, decided to be a little heavier with the gas pedal. the truck was "lugging" and then it made a "cough" like sound. similar to a backfire but it sounded like it was through the intake.
any comments as to what this was...truck remains to run properly. it would be a guess that this practice is NOT a good thing.
thanks

we have no friends when it comes to driving our vehicles ............. an old saying around harley riders is " you can ride my bike when you let me ride your wife " , thats generally taken as " he** no you cant " .
that being said i do have 2 or three friends that could drive any of my vehicles but they feel the same about me , it is the people i know who are not TRUE friends that cant .
