Finally back home and the truck barely starts...
GOOD NEWS!
I think it's all better. I took off the APPS and the prescribed voltage was 0.568V and the readings I took all were very close to 0.461V. So I adjusted it, turns out it didn't move very far in the direction I needed, I turned it a little and new voltage was 0.546V, so I moved it the little bit it had left and measured again, this time 0.555V. So that's where I left it.
0.555V is much closer to 0.568V than 0.461V. In fact it's 97%!
Went out for a test drive, no lope at all, got it to OPTEMP and came home and turned it off, now the final test, can I start it again? YES, I stopped and started like 4 times, neighbors probably thought I was crazy. But it starts perfectly now! Seems to feel bit more responsive to the pedal, but that could just be in my mind, but I know it starts now!
Anyway, I owe a lot to the forum and will donate, I am sure you guys saved me some mulah if I had to take it to a shop, who knows, maybe it would have needed a "rebuild". Thanks again, I will make another post with just the symptoms I had and how the APPS helped, make searches more simple. I had trouble finding just a post for that.
Thanks again!
