FASS system and fuel pressure gauge.

I will be getting my FASS system on Monday.
I have been waiting for it to arrive before I purchase a fuel pressure gauge.
I already am running a tripple set of Isspro gauges so I was going to go with them for the mechanical pressure gauge.
Where in line will the gauge line install?
What fittings would I need?
How long of a braded line would I need to make this fit if the gauge goes on top of the collumn?
I don't plan on using any isolator between the system and the gauge
Any help would be great.
Ken

I just used the port on the fass. Need about 10 feet of line and needle valve but thats to the bottem gauge on mine so my guess would be 11 feet of line.

I just put a T-fitting in the fuel line about 1 foot back from the VP44 and ran my FP gauge off of that, its a lot easier than running 10-12 feet of line back to the FASS. I also do not have an isolator or needle valve and it plugs into a 30lb boost gauge (pressure is pressure). Whole system cost ~40 bucks and works flawlessly. Its odd seeing a boost gauge constantly reading 15lbs but it works and thats all that matters.

Ken- You want to have your pressure reading come from as close to the VP44 as possible, that will give you the most accurate reading.

Do use an isolator, one, do you want to chance having a fuel leak in your cab? Two, it is illegal in most states, if not all, to have a fuel line run into the passenger area of a vehicle.

You can get the fittings and hose you need from http://www.vulcanperformance.com, Eric will make sure you have everything you need to do it right. Any questions, he has the right answer.

First off, I've got a question myself, does anyone know where I can get a t-fitting to t into my FASS fuel line (3/8") up near the IP? and do I need to run a snubber valve if I'm already gonna use an isolator?

Secondly, I second the recommendation of getting them from VulcanPerformance. You can get an isspro fp gauge complete with all tubing and an isolator for $80, which is about the cheapest i've seen anywhere. I'm ordering a full set of gauges from them tomorrow.

you can go to home depot or local hardware/plumbing store and piece together a T-fitting, at least thats what I did so that my FP gauge would screw directly into it
