Fan Clutch Replacement

It looks easy enough, is it just a wrench to unscrew it from the water pump? and are they right handed or left handed threads?

It's not really attached to the water pump just to a pulley. It is left hand threads so you need to loosen it to the drivers side of the truck. Some times a small hand sledge and a drift punch applied to the flats on the right side (working on it) and a sharp rap will loosen it right up.

Its a lefthanded thread , the tools are a stamped metal plate that is just a large wrench that fits on the out side of the farthest apart bolts on the pulley and a wrench for the large nut on the fan , then theres a few ways that guys get around the special wrench , 3lb malet and blunt punch on cornner to crack lose, vicegrips . I leave mine off in the winter & may put a electric on when it warms up.

John you might do a search here on the site about using a electric fan for cooling in the summer... If my memory serves me right... They had problems finding a electric fan capable of moving that much air as a stock belt driven fan. I would do research on this before you buy it...
