Hey Guys. Lately i have been noticing very erratic fuel pressure. Warming up the pressure would stay at 16-17psi, whe i start going it would fluctuate anywhere from 4-17psi. I'm assuming my lift pump is going out. I checked and it is throwing a 1693 code, whats that?

Any input would be great!!!

 

yeah your lp is proably going south, dont feel bad mine is also.
the 1693 i m not sure, i think it means there are other codes.

This is why you installed a fuel pressure guage. To give you a heads up to a potential problem. Good job!

Now replace the stocker LP with a Walbro or FASS II and you will be set for years with piece of mind. I prefer the FASS II with a 4 year, 400K mile warranty for about the same money.
