Coolant overflow bottle

im having a problem with no coolant being pulled back into the radiator after a cooldown seems like once a year ill have to top the radiator (very small amount) but the amount in the overflow never changes.

From: North Carolina or Kentucky. Take your pick

Check the hose from rad to bottle. May need clamps.

A faulty radiator cap can also cause this problem.

How small of an amount?

Most systems will not refill 100%. There is usually a small air gap on the rad.

Yep, sounds like you have a air leak somewhere, cap, hose, something,,,,
