Crunched air filter box

Crunched air filter box
Has anyone had an air filter box get crunched? I checked the air filter the other day and one of the little bolts holding the box to the fenderwell was gone along with piece of the airbox about 3 x 6 inches across. Do they have a habit of getting fragile with heat and age?

The K & N filter messed it up! Or someone needed yours after theirs was wrecked and damaged. At least he was kind enough to install his damaged pieces on your truck except for little bolt. JMHO
