The truck is running great. As I was letting the turbo cool, I noticed the tach slightly varying between 850-900 RPM's. I shut her down and pulled code P1693, it was too late to hit AutoZone I'll go in the mourning. I bought the truck about 2 weeks ago and the IP is brand spanking new and the LP was moved to the tank, so I guess both were just replaced hopefully by Dodge! Should I lose sleep tonight worrying about this new IP going bad? The truck is bone stock With 106k miles.

Had the codes pulled 2 came up twice

P0234- Engine overboost condition, turbo boost limit exceeded

P0236- Turbo boost sensor A circuit (MAP) sensor voltage too high for too long
Anyone have any ideas on the fix for this? Thanks

 

Bad MAP sensor maybe?

 

I will clean both sensors this weekend and see if that clears the codes. If not Dodge wants $290 for new Map and new harness!!! Cummins $84 for Map! Cummins dealer said in all his years he never had to order one.
