What does Code P1693 mean?

It's a "companion" code.
It is set in either the ECM or the PCM when an actual code is set in the other module.
If it is the only code shown uually its because the other code can't be read with the key on/off method.
Sometimes the actual code resets itself and leaves the 1693 behind as well.
Here's a link to the source I use, seems to be the most accurate.
