clutch question
it depends on how you drive and the condition of the clutch. i just changed my HOs with the few mods it has because it started to slip.90 k on the clutch.. others are running a lot more power and theres is holding
my stocker went out in my 02 HO at 110 thousand miles. i reckon it would have went alot farther but i installed a comp and 130 horse injectors. as far as i can remember, it held the 130 hp inj as long as you didnt get on it hard in the high gears.
Truck was brand new and only had 4000 miles on it, when mine started slipping. At around 340 -350 hp. Wasn't much in the way of after market clutches for the ETH/DEE in those days. What was avialable, was very expensive.
It's torque which makes them slip and driving habits can determine how long the clutch lasts. Keeping the engine out of the maximum torque band, above 2200 rpm, helps.

My old stocker would slip w/ the comp on higher settings. Once I tossed in some mach 1.5's, it was impossible to keep it from slipping, so I had to un-tap the wire. I figured I was around 325-ish hp when I could slip it very easily at higher rpm's.
