Brake Proportion Valve bais

I was wondering if anybody knew what the bais for the Brake Proportion Valve for disk/drum and for disk/disk trucks.

I just installed an 02 D80 disk replacing my 01 D70 drum and I am thinking about replacing the brake proportion valve. However if they have the same bias no sence in changing them.

I have also thought about bypassing the factory valve and installing an inline adjustable valve.

any thoughts?

Thank you
Brian

Pretty sure my 2002 with rear discs doesn't have the proportioning valve.

Perhaps you don't need it with rear discs?
The rear disc equipped trucks must have a different master cylinder, perhaps it is taken care of in there?

I'm with phox I don't think the disc setup has one.

Or is it completely controlled by the the ABS system on the 01 and 02 series? Being the computer controls the bias during braking... Just a thought...
