Airdog for the last 3 years---so far,but before Fass and all the other option i was told to go with Holley black---been there done that--- 2 failed within 1 months,onto the next flavor---Product Engineering pumps,these bad boys were the so called end to my troubles---"not"one stared leaking,replace under warranty,second started losing pressure so i moved on again to the Fass---worked great until it started making some real bad noises,mounted at the back of the truck you could here it in the cab,not good.The place i bought it from took it back and got me a Airdog----so far no trouble,except for the "Gorilla" that put the first filters on.Airdog has had no issues so far.

 

Been through a few black Carter pumps.. and Holley HP150.. and now running a pump only FASS...

 

I really want too hear input on this raptor pump its either going too relo my oem to pick up some psi or go the raptor route so if the person who bought one please get some number and some photos

 

Been running a Walbro for 3 years now. Not one problem since installed.

Ok, I Got My Dads Raptor Installed Last Night. There Was A Few Things I Didnt Like With The Kit. The Plates That You Mount Your Pump To That Are Suppossed To Clamp On The Frame Didnt Work Out So Well, I Ended Up Turning The Plate Long Ways And Drilling And Tapping Three Holes In The Frame. It Looks Real Good Though. The Fitting That Attaches The Fuel Line From The Pump To The Filter Canister Needed A 90* Fitting At The Filter. Other Than That Installation Was A Breeze

As Far As Performance I Set It At 23psi At An Idle And At 70mph It Sets At 19psi And At Wot 16psi Is The Lowest Ive Seen It The Pump Is Alot Quieter Than Stock. Now I Just Have To Wait For Mine, Etr Kinda Over Look The Fact That The Order Had 2 On It So They Only Sent One. Thats Just Another One Of The Many Reasons I Like Etr Though, They Come Right Out And Tell You, We Screwed Up, We Are Very Sorry

 

Those "mounting" plates is one of the things I did not really care for on the whole set up nice too see some numbers. I guess I will make the jump after I get my raise and get my raptor. On the fuel lines you just cut the metal one on the frame and can you just take the front half of the metal lines away? since there will be a new rubber hose going too the front of the fuel filter/heater? Also looking at the mods in my sig you think I should run the 150 or the 100 I am my self leaning on the 100

 

Everyone that has an airtex that has post mention 22 PSI idle, i can only get 17. fuel filter isnt due yet. maybe i should change it anyway, anyone with any ideas

 

the guy at ETR told me it really doesnt matter if you go with the 150gph or the 100gph the only difference is one will support up to 550hp and the other will support up to 1250hp. i had ordered the 150 pump for my dads and mine but the one i recieved was a 100 pump i will have to wait and see what the other one is when it comes in. as far as the fuel lines go we just left them in place along with the p.o.s. stock pump we didnt cut anything

 

Holley blue stretched spring, internal filter removed and Baldwin filters on both sides of the pump. 21psi all the time.

 

Been using a Carter 4601Hp for several years now, with 12 psi at WOT and 17 at idle. It is located right in place of the stock one. I found that running the power to the carter from an ignition hot wire will keep the pressure up, instead of regulated by lower voltage. I have the stock wire still hooked up and the splice wire with a plug on it to a ign wire. i keep it unplugged unless I feel the need. It also helps if you should run out of fuel. It will keep running to fill the VP back up. Big fuel lines help too.

 

I've had the Walbro on for about 8 months with no problems. 18 runnin' and 15 WOT

 

I'm running a STOCK lift pump on my 01 (112k). I just replaced the original last week because it was starting to leak at the electrical connector. 9psi cruising, 3 under load. No worries here. I have the volume.

 

Hey J were you been hiding I needed some help here glad I am not the only stocker that can't see what every ones problem is

 

I currently have the warranty intank pump. I am thinking of keeping it going and putting in a carter pump above to displace the load and up psi. What do you think. If the carter failed would pressure from the intank keep pushing though the carter until I could change it?
