I heard they are father & son who supposedly had a falling-out. Son formed his own company selling FASS, while dad stayed with Airdog. They probably get together every xmas and laugh about it.

Aeromotive A1000, 30PSI at idle with A1000 regulator set as low as it will go. Gauge doesn't move at WOT. Might be a little too much pressure for a VP44 though but it's never missed a beat for 2yrs.

Like my FASS hpfp, works well down to -36, have not used it at any above freezing temps yet... 15.5 psi at idle, 10.5 at WOT

FASS supports my 620HP without a problem... Holds 18psi no matter what I do!

I have the Carter with a Vulcan big line/relo kit. I also have a brand new Carter under the back seat for that inevitable change out. So far, 1 year & still ticking 15 psi @ idle, and 10 psi hard on the throttle.

older FASS....it was on my truck 3.5 years ago when i bought it used from the dealer. the pump makes no noise, and doesn't drop below 10psi at WOT from 12psi at idle. my FASS is anything but noisy also, the only time I have ever heard it running with the truck idling was when i was under the truck diagnosing broken driveline parts while idling to cool her down after a sled pull run.

supports up 580hp with no problem on my truck. i've had 2 vp44's fail, both electrical deaths. one was from a edge drag comp, the other was faulty wiring by me that fried the pump.

I've seen the airdog compared to my FASS, and though you can get one cheaper the airdog looks cheap and small compared to my FASS. if my FASS ever fails, i will buy another one before switching brands.

Hey fellas what about this one off ebay? Any good? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...222487737&rd=1

I got the Airtex replacement and it was good at first. 20 psi idle 10 at wot. Now a month later, it will drop to 0 if I turn the juice up, and to about 3 with the juice on 1. The weird thing is that I still get 18 psi at idle? Whats up with that?
