I would jump on the raptor if there was proof of it being reliable. Right now I have good pressures but some day would like to kick it up a notch for better vp protection. I really am leanin on the raptor but so far from what I can see its not tested....

Hey fellas what about this one off ebay? Any good? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...222487737&rd=1
I got the Airtex replacement and it was good at first. 20 psi idle 10 at wot. Now a month later, it will drop to 0 if I turn the juice up, and to about 3 with the juice on 1. The weird thing is that I still get 18 psi at idle? Whats up with that?

Fass is getting the most votes of users. I wonder how many they have actually sold and how many pumps they have had returned.

I Went Ahead And Went With The Raptor, It Should Be In Any Day. Heres The Reason, The Price, The Fact That It Is Made By The Same People That Make The Airdog, Comes With The Big Line Upgrade, And A 6year Warranty On The Pump If It Is Defective Which Is Alot Better Than Cummins' 6 Month Warranty On Replacement Pumps. My Replacement Lasted 8 Months, Huh- Just Past Warranty
SOMEBODY HAS TO TEST THEM
I WILL LET Y' ALL KNOW HOW IT WORKS

Walbro 392 with a Swagelok relief. Originally pegged my 30psi mech gauge at idle. Now tuned to 23psi at the LP, 20-21 at the VP. Never less than 15 at WOT. After a Carter POS lasting 3 months I'm not messing around. Thinking about the VP44 and the 14psi internal bypass I believe it needs 14psi at all times to make sure there is sufficient cooling. Just my 2 cents....

I know fass only advertises something like a 3% failure rate but every board you look on people are having to send them back for loud pumps or warranty work so i wonder where there numbers come from. Some how I doubt the father and son have a nice xmas together after there split up from reading the court right up i imagine it got pretty ugly and heated. Owell happy with my decision

Regarding failure rates, I don't think anyone wants to get too excited about sharing that with the public.
And what defines a "failure". Your definition may very well be far different than the manufacturers.
In any case, a 3% failure rate on 30,000 units is 900. I have no idea how many units any of these companies have sold.
