Ok I'm try my first post I have an 01 dodge ram 2500 4x4 quad cab 8ft. Bed automatic. I found a local junkyard has an 01 same everything except its a 6 speed . The guy will sell me all parts for the swap, other posts say my transfer case will still work as well , can anyone think of anything that might give me problems? Is the starter diffrent? Any pointers would be great!

While your transfer case will work, you will have to swap out your 23 spline input on the TC to the 29 Spline used with the manuals.

Not terribly difficult, but you have to take the TC apart to do it.
