APPS Sensor Issues
Ok today 3 times I got the "dead pedal".....but I also noticed that the throttle is responding odd. If I keep the pedal at a certain spot, it will accelerate like i am pushing on it, even though I am keeping it at a specific spot. Any ideas on what is going on and how to fix it?

How did ya check codes? I've come across a couple scanners that won't always pick up all the VP codes, and my VP is about dead, and it's never had an engine light on...just to let ya know.
I would try resetting the APPS, its a free way to double check. Do a search on here, there's been many threads about it. I don't remember exactly, but you have to match the voltage of a wire on the firewall with the voltage on the back of the APPS.

Before replacing pumps, replace fuel filter if not done recently, Had same problem last month,. I had dirty filter and new one fixed the same problem. Remember buy it from Cummins not Dodge.

P1765 Trans 12 Volt Supply Relay CTRL Circuit.
An open or shorted condition is detected in the
Transmission Relay control circuit.
This relay supplies power to the TCC.
Since the APPS also signals the auto. transmission, looks like the APPS is really bad. Anybody have Timbo's emai address handy?

The APPS and certain electrical issues do have to do with torque converter lock up but it is not directly related to the switch in the trani. I have been fighting lockup/unlockup. There are lots of electrical lockup and shifting issues of which I have 400.000 miles experience and know most of the fixes available.
