apps issues
i was driving along this weekend and out of no where the pedal cut out. i shut the key of and turned it back on then it worked for a while. then it would randomly cut out and back in. sometimes it would cut in on its own. sometimes the key wouldmake it cut back in sometimes it wouldnt. then it wouldnt even shut off. turned the key off and stepped the brake (turbo timer on the chip) and it just ran. i wiggled the plug on the apps and it seemed like if i pulled down on the connector it would idle up and if i pushed up on the connector it idled down and shut off. sometimes it would hang at 2-4% and idle at 1000-1200 rpm.
codes were p0230- transfer pump circuit out of range
p0121- tps voltage does not agree with MAP
p0122- TPS voltage low
P1693- MIL fault in companion module
any thoughts?
thanks

Sounds like you need to get hold of a Timbo APPS. Mine was doing the same thing although it did not cut out completely, it just stumbled like it was running out of fuel. Fuel pressure was good so I replaced the APPS with a Timbo unit and no more problems.

i pulled the apps housing off and cleaned the connections and cleaned where the housing contacts the head. been good so far. hard to say though as i only drive 30km to work and 30 km back each day
