APPS Code and ole 1693

I threw an APPS low voltage code and cleared it by doing the reset. Now I still have the 1693 code. Does the APPS code automatically throw the 1693 code or do I have other problems? Will disconnecting the batteries clear the 1693 code? Truck is running fine now after the reset.

you should be able to clear the 1693 with a snap-on scanner.

did you adjust your apps? It needs to read at leat .49 volts or it will just throw that code again and make your truck run badly

I haven't checked the voltage. I guess if it comes back I will probably have to replace it. Will a new one solve this problem or is there another problem that is causing the low voltage?

you can just adjust it if the problem is a low reading
