the ce light came on and i checked the codes on the odometer. i figured out what 0216 was, but what is the 1693 code?

 

The 1693 is means that the chassis computer has picked up a code from the engie computer. It usually comes up when ever a code is set.
After you have cleared the codes and the 0216 comes back you probably will need a new VP44. and lift pump.

anyone know if a clogged fuel line from the tank would kick this code on? seems like if that were the case the truck would run crappy.
