I had mine enabled last year by the dealer and I have a stock tps, and mine has NEVER came on yet.....

my snapon scanner says my tps shows 9% ish while my edge J/A shows 0% so I'm not sure which is correct, unless the ECM sees all the peremeters it will not work

Your problem is most likely your IAT sensor. That is what triggers your high idle. To check this you can go to radio shack an get a 40k -50k resistor and unplug you IAT and insert the leads of the resistor into the plug end.

here is some info on the IAT. I actually have a homemade box to select different resistence values so I can turn on high idle no matter what the outside temp is. You know what is really neat, 3cyl kicks in with about 55k-60k of resistence. When I get a chance to I will fool someone that does not know about 3cyl. and they think my truck is out there self destructing. I then jump in and tap the throttle and that kicks it out of 3 cyl than I drive off http://dodgeram.org/tech/dsl/sensors/IAT/clean.htm

Well here is what I found out. I went out side and yanked the IAT out again its been maybe 15 thousand or more since I cleaned it last and well what do you know it was pitch black darker than the inside of a boot could not even see a spot of white let alone the little diode in the middle of the sensors cadge. Now what was what I thought due too not being chipped my lower than normal mileage might make sense and it has seemed down on power. I can only belive that this was the reason it was not coming on and I think it fowled faster because the chip was failing and could have been over fuellinng every thing. Plus I use my exhaust brake allot also.

alright i am not sure if it is my APPS gone or not..but I am hearing it very well could be...

here is what is going one:

The other day while taking off at a stop sign, I can put the pedal all the way to the ground and it will build no boost at all but I can still hear the turbo whistle and it will not blow any smoke. I can let off, and mash it again and it will do the same thing. Then I can let off again and push it to the floor and it will take off like a rocket...Does this sound like a APPS?

Also, maybe a stupid question? but is the APPS the same things as a TPS? if so, I had my TPS replaced a little while ago..also have had a new VP44 replaced..

thanks for the help.

sorry for the troubles...just had my codes checked...it is not the APPS but I will still be looking into replacing mine with on such talked about on this thread..sounds like a GREAT product!

P0236 - map sensor too high too long. problem detecting in turbo charger waste gate..

this would explain why it is not building boost....

all i need to do now is figure out what I need to replace..

thanks again
