I just received mine from Tim....ordered it on Friday, had it in the mailbox on Monday. Wow...great service.

+1 for Timbo01

I'll install it this weekend along with my BD noise filter if it arrives by Saturday.

My truck has never thrown any codes at all & I've never experienced the dead pedal problem, but every so often I get a weird surge from the truck when I just start accelerating from a stop...I've noticed it about 4 times in the past few months....Is this APPS supposed to address this problem? I've already got a BD APPS noise isolator installed....

My truck did the same thing a few times before I got a dead peddle. After every one the truck then ran fine for some amount of time. Once I swapped the APPs all has been fine. Not either condition has returned.

Been three years to this day I installed the aftermarket apps from timbo and with the DTT filter I've been trouble free. Replacing the alternator about the same time could contribute also but I think the apps component can wear out in three years easily and is on my list of parts to replace about every five years just as preventative maint.

interesting. i think the BD APPS Noise Isolator & the DTT Noise Filter should accomplish about the same thing......I noticed that the surge still happens at times after puting in the BD noise isolator, but it's not as pronounced as it used to be so evidently it's helping some.....I was just wondering if replacing the APPS with the aftermarket one could clear up the whole problem.....

I had a Timbo APPS installed by a local shop about 3 months ago (after I told the owner about them about a year ago). He has installed several others and had no problems with them.

Mine fixed the low rpm surge, miss too.

Just got 21 mpg over 600 miles to MT, hand calced.

Not sure if this is from the timbo or what, but it is about the best Ihave gotten on this trip. My gps said I averaged 58.4 mph, so that is about right.

I recently purchased and installed a Timbo APPS on my 02. Installing only took about 25-30 min. The Timbo APPS got rid the problem I was having at 40 -50 mph, no more OD hunting.

keep getting a p0121 code. says it is TPS sensor. found the beast right on the foot pedal. now here is the question. there is a huge price gap when i call around. amazon shows $34.xx dodge dealer wants $195.xx pep boys wants $33.xx. does this unit come apart or do you have to buy the whole thing? you figure since it is only a potentiometer you could repace that.

If you found an APPS, AKA TPS, for an ISB for less than 200 bucks anywhere besides Timbo's, it isn't the right part. Trust me. Dealers typically want 400+ for it.
