Adding 2 stroke oil to Fuel
Im curious what the injector pump noise sounds like. There is a slight ticking noise thats only really noticeable at certain rpms or when the engine is heavily loaded (like going up a hill w/ my 24ft stock trailer). THis noise seems to come from the left side of the engine (somewhere behind the steering wheel)--is the the IP? thanks,

I think I'll be trying 2 stroke oil in my tank. I have a few bottles of AMSOIL Fuel Additive left. What is the general consensus? Is the oil additive enough? Should I add it with the 2 stroke oil or half and half of each?
I would like to keep using the AMSOIL to keep injectors clean.

I was just wondering,, does it metter much what brand/type of 2-stroke oil to run?
I just now started researching this topic and I think I am going to give it a try! I was cleaning out the shed and garage last week and I have several small bottles of various 2-stroke mix (poulan, tech 2000, homelite, etc...) can I mix them together in my tank?
Is there something that will be on the label I should look for, a certainb type or rating from some governing body? Or can I just burn through them all.
I dont want to run them in my 2-stroke equipment because everything I have is a Stihl and I run their stuff for them

for those concerned about 2 cycle plugging up the cat?...........how do you explain the use of a cat on many modern 2 cycle engines going back to the mid 1980's used first on Yamaha's RZ500
