just a quike few questions
1---the part # i found here for a filter from napa was 2790 i think. is there a filter cover they sell for it from napa .that i see all the boys runnin on theres
2-- is the heat sheild really important right off the bat or can i make it work for 1600km and add later.
3--how is the bhaf secured in position, still more parts?
4--i think thats it for me, feel free to add your .02cents worth.

 

I've never run an outer wears on mine, and its never been an issue. I made a heat sheild for mine right away, so I can't say on that. You should be alright without it for a while. Hotter EGT's perhaps, but shouldn't be huge. Take those grommet nuts out of the stock air box and put them back on the studs, that way you won't puncture the filter.
