2002 disc brake question

Can anyone tell me if the 2002 rear disc brakes use short flex hoses from the steel line to the calipers? It should but I'm unable to find the hoses in the aftermarket so far. Got an OE part number by chance.
Switching newer diff into my '92 and the donar axle came without brake lines.
Thanks

I would call EGR brakes. They do a lot of custom brake lines for dodges.
He is there website http://www.egrbrakes.com/index-main.htm

On my 2002 3500, the last 4" or so is rubber flex line. I'd find a donor or make my own, Napa should have a variety of flexible hose.

most speed shops carry stainless braided brake lines in several lengths.

I just might end up having some made. I knew they would be short flex hoses and was surprised that the local parts store only had a listing for the center flex hose.

You need to replace the whole thing hardline and flex.
I agree with screamin01, check with EGR Brakes.
Just for giggles call your local 5 star dealer and ask for a price on those lines.
(Be sitting for the response and quickly slap duct tape over your mouth so you don't insult the poor parts man!!!)

Being impatient I ended up getting a set from a wrecked truck. Not the best solution but it worked for now. I think flex hoses from just about any application would work as long as the banjo bolt goes through the block.

I'm not sure what it would be like down in the USA but I was quoted over $1,000 CAD just to purchase those 2 hoses from the dodge dealer in my town!

Does this translate to: "We don't have any of them so lets set the price so high that nobody buys them?"?

Turns out my hoses were okay... just had to replace both calipers!
