So today I pulled out the silencer ring and noticed the turbo is a little dirty....from the K&N. Going to get a BHAF tomorrow from my local WIX supplier, closed on Sunday. After reading through it appears that the K&N is probably causing this, hence the reason for the BHAF. Any suggestions on cleaning it? It is basically the oil sticking to it.

 

Just a little surface oil. Will not harm anything. More pain than it's worth to clean it.

 

Thanks, now I see why everyone on here is not big fans of the oiled filters for turbo apps.
