The dealer diagnosed my hot starting problem, they said the starter is starting to go bad. I hope they are right even tho I dont notice the truck cranking over any slower then it use to. I'm going to change the starter next week and I'll let you know what I come up with.

I'm starting to have the same issues, cranks over a good 4-5 times before firing. Did it this summer and then went away for a while, and now its back. Interested to see if the starter fixes it........

You really don't need to replace your starter I'm sure. There is a kit for the starter that replaces the contacts and plunger. In 99% of the cases this fixes the problems, and actually is better than a rebuilt starter. You can get the kit from:http://www.fostertruck.com/dodge/default.htm
or you can get the same kit I believe from Geno's garage.

i bet its not your starter... mine is doing this aswell. i replaced the starter and injection pump camsenser all in the last month and i have hard hot start fter the truck has been warmed up.. it turns out it was is the electrical in the injection pump. what i figured out is after the truck is hot and you go to start it if it dosent fire up right away turn your key to the on possion for 25sec or so and it will fire up everytime.. if this works for you is the electrical in the IP... mine is from BD diesel...junk
