12 Valve to 24 Valve Swap

What would it take to put a 24V from an 02 Auto into a 96 5spd?

Most folks would prefer to do the opposite..........

The 12 valve doesn't have all the electronic junk that can die.

oh absolutely, ill explain... Bought a 96 2500 5 spd that the engine was pulled out of for a "DeStroked" I am planning a 12V puller motor for this 96, but in the meantime I have an 02 24V from an auto sitting on my shop floor that i figure would be a nice addition to this 96 while it waits for the 12V

You will need the ECM and PCM hooked up and not sure all the accompanying electronic support stuff is in a 96.

Sounds like a lot of work and money to straighten out to me.
