100k today
Well after 3 years and 5 months I have hit 100k on the way to work this morning. Just a quick report card since delivery.
One fuel tank sending unit at 57k
one lift pump at 57k warrantied
one vp44 at 62k warrantied
one tail light bulb
Steering gear box top cap bolts have come loose twice but not in the last 50k.
Still on original brake pads just rotated the tires last night and they still look like they have another 20k in them based on usage so far.
The auto trans is still working fine.
Original tires lasted (Mich LTX MS) 62k due to my poor inflation otherwise they would have lasted another 20k I am sure based on the wear pattern
Have done all my own maintenance and run synthetics front to rear since I got it except for the engine oil which I waited until 15k to switch out.
Other than the above this truck has performed flawlessly and beyond my expectations. Lets just hope it stays this way because I plan on driving it until the wheels fall off then I will replace them and drive it some more. It still puts a grin on my face every time I get in it. Got to go find a large piece of wood to knock on now.

RJ:
The dealer said it was probably the lift pump that took out the vp44 and that along with runninbg out of fuel when the sending unit went out.
DAKAR: the note is gone too. Jan 04 was last payment.
