Re:100,000 miles

Let's see, I bought mine in May '02 with 98,000 miles, now at 133,000
Replaced:
1: Brakes and rotors
2: I'm on my 3rd set of tires
3: No lift pump (I'd swear by the looks of it it's still the original)
4: Stereo (it quit playing CD's, but was aftermarket when I bought it)
5: I'm on my 4th (and final) clutch since I bought it
6: Several oil and filter changes
7: Rear transfer case seal (it still leaks a bit)
8: Rear wheel bearing (I was in a wreck that bent the driver's side tube, the axle they replaced it with had a bad seal)
9: Air filter (BHAF)
10: 3 or 4 fuel filters
11: Tranny front input shaft seal (it's no fun pulling that tranny 5 times in 35,000 miles but it's going pretty quickly by now)

Overall, I'm having pretty good luck with it, it's got a new set of wheels since my wreck, original lift and injection pump, original (as near as I can tell) ball joints, original batteries, and original u-joints except for the rear. But I'm pretty rough on the truck so that could all change tomorrow ;D,
andy

Re:100,000 miles

Stake...It seems you haven't changed much at all, including fluids... ??? ??? Do you only use your truck in one position, with the rear wheel off hooked to a wood saw?? : Oh I forgot it's pretty much stock so no wear and tear... I've got 75,000 miles on my truck and if you add up what everyone has replaced and times X 2 that would be about right for me... "If you play you got to pay" :'( :'(

Re:100,000 miles

Heber,

You blew up more turbos in 1 week than I have in 100,000 miles. Maybe it has something to do with the driver?

Stake...Me hard on things, : : , if it weren't for guys like me, how would anybody know what mods to buy... My motto is " if it can blow I'll make it go, if you want something tested, I'm best "ested", if it will only happen once in a million, I'm the million".

At 220,000 lets see.....
two lift pumps
original clutch
pilot bearing went so replaced clutch and trans (not needed)
fan hub bearing
really needed new injectors ;D
upper radiator hose
serpentine belt
two sets brake pads, two sets of shoes
rear wheel seal
fuel sender
map sensor (maybe needed)
two speed sensors
four shock absorbers
16 tires since new
oil filters and fuel and fuel and fuel.....
[/quote]

Forgot to add my exhaust manifold that cracked and a couple of thermostats. Today a water pump. Also the heater core is bad.
