Yay! Back In The Saddle!!!

Guess what I won on ebay today and drove home?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWNX%3AIT

Here is whats wrong with it:

Headliner falling
Passenger seat bolts loose
Needs front shock desperately (like going through rough waters on a boat when I hit a bump)
Front right bumper bolt missing
Needs new U-joints
Radio doesnt work (the clock does though)
275,xxx miles
Automatic (for the wife, not as good as the 5spd I used to have)
Slow
Underpowered
No gauges in it yet

The good stuff:

Has the elusive LE tailgate in almost perfect condition
Has the elusive map light
A/C works
Excellent condition 1st Gen COMFY Captain seats
VERY straight body panels
Has few dents and deans
No drips or leaks anywhere
Tires in great shape
Fluids serviced by the dealer less than 1000 miles ago
Full tank of diesel
Ugly towing mirrors
I am the third owner
STRONG shifting auto, firm shifts and holds under foot-to-the-floor power

The 2 owners before me were friends to each other. When the 1st guy traded the truck in, the friend came and bought it back! Everything serviced at this dealer, about 45mins away from me. I saw it this morning before work than hurried home to bid in the last 20 seconds and WON! My wife was jumping for joy! This is what she wanted, a old farm truck in good condition with a ext cab and a auto, everything else is what I wanted. Thank the Good Lord for answered prayers!

Pat, the Suburban is going to get a new direction, mainly 2wd pulling now. I dont know if that is a carnal sin but I have it mostly gutted now, so converting this "early" will not put me behind at all. Plus, I plan on testing some stuff with it to help 1st Gen performance.

Crossy (and others), what wheels do you recommend?
