Whoops!!! METHANOL not methane

After all my upgrades, last on my list after a bunch of road testing is an injection unit.

(well maybe not "last" but next)

I just want a basic set up to use when I'm pulling the 5th wheel as a "just in case, and if I'm in a situation where I'd need it"

Would love to hear some choices and some "goods and bads" involved.

Not me but friend that runs the Walmart brand of windsheild washer solvent. His is not a fancy set up but it works, and has for a few years now. He is like you not so much for the performance.

 

I run the window washer fluid that has meth already in it. Some have isopropanol. I then add a bottle of gas deicer which is almost pure meth. The best thing IMHO to do is get a gallon of methanol from a local speed shop that specializes in alchohol racing and distilled water from the grocery store. Mix it 50/50.

 

I have a Snow stage2 kit with two 625 nozzles. I run 50/50 water/meth. Working for a propane service company is handy sometimes.

I got 35hp at peak from 50/50, it carries out the powerband as it defuels though.
