Where to find stock fender mouldings

I am painting my truck within the next month, and am looking for the stock fender mouldings. The dealer want about 2 bills each for them. They are not worth $800 to me. My truck did not originally come with them. Are there any aftermarket sources out there for them. Thanks for the help!

These folks have the front listed, they may have the rear but you would have to call them to see I guess.

Does anyone know if those moldings are the black plastic ones. Mine are in tact but have started to have yellow spots. Thought about replacing them, but if anyone has a good way to fix them I would like to know. Thanks

Is it possible to paint the mouldings the body color? I'd check with a local bodyshop and see if it can be done....I'd bet it can. I think it would look pretty sharp with painted fender mouldings.

You can paint them, just use a good epoxy primer and paint away.

Loch,

Wouldn't it also require some sort of flex agent added to the paint, since the stock mouldings are sort of rubbery?

I assume your referring to the black fender flare type things. If you are, you can just paint them, the dont really flex much.

VHT makes a killer vinyl & plastic paint in all types of colors. They make a exact match for the interior for the gauge pod also!
