2nd Gen side mouldings

Just had a fresh coat put on the 96 and had them debadge everything. all looks good except where the side moulding was. that little ridge that the moulding was on has several waves due to the fact that moulding had taken some hits and you couldn't see the effect but now you can.
DC wants 190 per side for replacement side mouldings. any ideas for a more reasonable solution?
thanks
tj
PS how do you think the big 07 "2500Heavy Duty" badge would look on a 2nd Gen? ;-)

Their website appears to be down at the moment, not sure if it's technical trouble or they went out of business, but I bought mine from www.auto-extra.com for $110. I like the earlier trim--better looking and offers better coverage, so I bought the 94-97 set. It's made by Trim-Gard.

And Semper Fi.

I think the 2nds look good w/ the black side trim. Mine has the short version, just two pieces and it looks right. The earlier four piece ones look too much IMO. I like the new badging, if you do it post some pics!
