Question 2001 2500 Front end

Hello guys,

-New to the site- fellow dodge d owner looking for some help. I have a 2001 -dodge 2500 (awsome truck). The steering wheel and pedal assembley sorta feel slightly loose when I go over a sharp bump (like train tracks) or let the cluch out . Some times when I first hit the brakes lightly.. Any suggestions ??
I was told when I bought the truck the ball joints were just done .
Oddly enough my old 93 dakota had the same feeling but I never found out what that was either.

Thanks ,Redz

Get the whole front end checked. The ball joints may be bad. The track bar is notorious for wearing out as well.

Welcome to the site redz! Fill out your sig so we know what you got. I just found out my '01 needs a complete front end rebuild w/ only 63K miles. My steering is wandery at lower speeds but fine on the highway. The roads around here don't help either! I don't understand how you are feeling it in the pedals though. Kurt
