This has been bugging me a while, since my buddy bought an '85 W100 that had a wood grain dash.

None of my 4 dodges have them, but would like either my '93 or CTD to have one. Is there a place that sells the kit to lay over the dash, or some paper? I tried contact paper, but it peels off wayyyy to easily and looks sloppy. I would almost think about buying an instrument panel cover that was wood grained if i could find one

Genos garage www.genosgarage.com sells some wood grain kits. Not sure if they have them for that year though.

 

Wood grain was a factorie option and was stander on all of the LE's I would say a factorie one would not be all that high.

 

I have a nice/cherry/mint woodgrain dash bezel from my 85 crew cab, I'd sell. It doesn't have the message center though. OH, and a woodgrain bezel from a 93 CTD.

 

I've tripped over them at the local junkyard...

 

Is there a difference between the "woodgrain dash bezel" from the '85 and the "woodgrain bezel" from the '93?

What would you look to get for that?

Woodgrain bezel = woodgrain dash bezel. On the 85 there is no provision for message center lights. In the place of the message center it's like a cubby hole for cigs, lighter, cell phone etc. You would have to cut the cubby hole out- protrudes toward the firewall a few inches. Then mount your message center, thats if you wanted to keep your message center. On the 93 bezel, its just an opening from where the message center was removed. PM me for price.
