Wheel Fasteners on 1st Gens - The Answer
I just got an electric impact wrench on SALE at Canadian Tire. It claims 350 lb-ft torque vrs the 250 of all my previous ones. This one really does remove my properly torqued flange nuts! My other electrics would just buzz away and heat up. It's on (Maximum grade) for just under $70, vrs regular price of $200-. It may be a rebranded Porter-Cable, Ryobi or some such, but I think this is the best price we'll see around here for awhile. This post may get bumped to another sub-forum, but AFAIK we have the tightest wheel fasteners of all the "gens".

Electric or Cordless? Either way, though, that's a great deal for an impact that will remove lug nuts off our trucks. I run an Ingersoll Rand 2131 and it's great, but not mobile unless you have OBA.
The best cordless gun I have used was a 28v Milwaukee. It was an absolute beast of a tool, but it was very heavy and VERY expensive.

It's corded, but well within the power of my little 50 lb genny. Where my truck is I used about 50' of extension cord, so a better power source would make it stronger. It's definitely gonna travel with me on trips.
