Depending on the amount of rust i don't think that would be too bad of a price.

How many miles?
How much rot?
What is included? Two of the pictures have different tires, a different bed, different front bumper, and a canopy. Getting some "new" pictures with the current paint job/setup would be nice. 6k is not horrible but if it needs a lot of work there are better options out there ...

I think crew cab conversions are sweet! All about rust and how bad you want it! If you are thinking of doing a conversion down the road or now ask yourself how much would you spend for what is there already! Whats your time worth? If most of the conversion is done (right?) then $5k-$6k isnt bad! Depending on rust!

A lot depends on how well the conversion was done, too. If it's a real hack job with scary wiring and gasser axles, then you gotta knock that price in half.

I sold my rusty crew for $6700. it had wiring issues, no ac, nv4500, hx35, d60 rear, pod's, etc. i felt it went for more than it was worth, but some kid wanted it bad.

You sold that piece of crap for $6700, you really ripped someone off.

You talk about that thing a little to much on 1stgen.org

it was indeed a piece of crap. cool truck for sure, but i had to fix crap at least once a week just to drive it daily.

i tossed it on ebay right before winter (prime 4x4 selling time) and started it at $3500. just for kicks i put a buy it now on it for $6700. it sold in less than 1.5 hours.

the kid that bought it had a gorgeous 93 w250 cc on a 6" lift and 35's. he wanted to trade me, but i didnt want the auto trans....then he sold it on ebay for $8k. im still kicking myself for not trading and putting a 5 spd in it...

I bet that made your day, selling it for almost double of what you set it at, in less than 2hrs.

You don't like the dually? I personally don't like the look of lifted trucks with big tires. Get a paintjob on the dually, and she'll look real nice.

i love the dually. i dont need a drw, i just wanted one. but after this snow storm we got toay, and getting my truck stuck three times with a loaded trailer, i sure wish i had 4wd. in addition, i drove a 90 1/2 ton for a year while i was looking for a diesel replacement. ideally, i would have drove the w250 till i found a nicer d or w 350 truck, then traded or sold it for more than i got out of the crew. oh well, live and learn.

Dually's are terrible in the snow, especially 2wd duallys. I know from personal experience.

I kind of wish I had waited to buy my truck. Whem I got mine the prices were still way up there, and I had been looking for a 2wd dually 5spd, for almost 2yrs. When I finally found my truck, it was from a family friend who had owned it since new, but the only thing I didn't like was the auto. He gave me a really good deal on it, so I couldn't turn it down.

Less than a year later, truck prices are next to nothing, and I have seen quite a few 2wd 5spd, dually's that were in my price range.

I still love my truck though.
